JOURNAL QUESTIONS
When do you follow your intuition and when do you ignore it?
Do you follow the advice of your analytical mind over your intuition? If so, why?
Do you follow the advice of others, over your own intuition?
When we start to dive within ourselves, we start to know ourselves more intimately. If we do not spend time alone, we end up identifying with our roles, our careers, our relationships, etc. How are you identifying with these external identities?
“Your attention is the Supreme Currency of life. You spend your life through your attention. What you are giving attention to, you are giving your life to. Whatever you give your attention to becomes part of your life. What you give attention to will grow!"
TO DO:
1. EXERCISE #1 :: Get out your journal, a piece of paper and your colored pencils.
a. Start by contemplating and writing down where your attention is currently going in your life. Who and what has your attention? Example: Your relationships, the dramas of your personal life, the dramas of other people’s lives, the collective drama in the news, etc.
b. We must claim our attention, we must honor our attention on all levels. And in order to give attention to the things we want in our life, we must first have our own attention. Take your colored pencils, start to create a list of where you want your attention to be focused. You can do this in your journal, or you can do this on a separate piece of paper, so that you can put this list on your fridge or somewhere where you can see it. A reminder of where you want your attention to go. Example: Inwards, attention focused on my inner self, my children, my dharmic path, my yoga business, etc.
2. EXERCISE #2 :: Take the Intuitive Type Test. This is different from the assessment test. It goes a bit deeper and a little different.
